So, we were duking it out for last, and in a surprise upset, Wes took home the pink ribbon! Now, that's not exactly how this is supposed to work guys. Erik is still in the top overall, but we have a strong contender with jpace7!

Sports ball talk! What happened to the Chargers? They were doing so good this year, and then took a chunk out of my (Eep) and Klaukwork's scores. Rude. Good job most everyone picking the Bears, the tightest game this week. Several blowouts this week with 5 games just going for it.. So, rapid fire: Lions - overkill; Patriots - overkill; Texans - overkill; Chiefs - flipped the script; Broncos - overkill. Ugh! Is this what they mean when they say the rich get richer?

No one told me there was a tie in OT! 40 - 40 Did Packers & Cowboys give their defense the night off?!

Ryan, you either missed that first game, or bet 0. I'd surely like to know, but these lazy good for nothing programmers haven't updated how it works yet! Either way, thanks for participating. Johnnyg08, if you keep up with these good weeks, you'll be climbing the ranks in no time!

Lantern Week 4 News

Why are you guys letting Erik take the lead?! He was doing a victory dance after the Rams game talking about he's going to get a blue ribbon! There were still plenty of games left... The worst part is, he was right! Wes, Kambino, I beg of you, take him down. Johnnyg, nice to see you coming in hot with a strong 27 pts. Ryan, did you forget to finish making your picks? You don't get a pink ribbon if you don't make your picks.

Let's talk games, more specifically those intense spreads, because we have a couple of doozies. The Cardinals losing by 1 point, but covering the spread is always a fun thing for me. The inverse is true for the Chargers this week, narrowly managing to cover the spread. Now, Vegas had some wild numbers for the Vikings/Bengals and the Panthers/Falcons. Once again, we have a couple of opposite cases. Vikings were meant to win by 4, and won by 38, talk about a blowout! Falcons, however, meant to win by 5, and lost, 0-30!

Lantern Week 3 News

Alrighty! We have Kambino and Wes tied for first in the overall. BDub picking up first for the week, good job! Ryan, with their first ever ribbon, got pink!

The gamblers are doing awfully well, unless you’re me, boo… Everyone in the top got their pick 6’s correct. Now, I’d like to see that if you aren’t gambling, maybe you’re still picking a winner. I’ve been informed, that’s not currently how it works, despite there being a 0 in the picking section. Those pesky programmers giving options that don’t do anything… Add it to the pile of “to do’s.”

Looks like the Bengals and 49ers had a couple of nail biters for the spreads. I’m told that the Bills game was going so well, they just stopped covering it. Apparently you shouldn’t televise a murder. Did the same happen for the Lions? Because woah! 52-21, what happened there?
